GWAP camp 2014 sign up

Ok here is the 411 on camp this year!

We will begin camp on July 30, 2014 at 7pm.  We recommend each girl to bring their own towel for showers and/or swimming, floaties if needed, bedding (if you have a small cot and want to pack it, that is fine otherwise we will be using whatever level spot we can find), sunscreen, bug spray, appropriate summer clothing (play clothes...there won't be much cause for dressing up, rubber boots might even be a good idea), swimsuits, toiletries.

Our theme is Follow first; then Lead, 1 Corinthians 11:1.  We will be really talking about how to follow Jesus, then how to lead others to Jesus.  We will diligently present the gospel and the need for salvation, for there is no following or leading without the regeneration and power of God.  We will look at sin and ourselves against the perfectness of God, so that these girls can see their need for a Savior.

All the teachings will be emphasized toward godly womanhood.  We will learn how to do some household chores, talk about caring and nurturing others, etc.  I will really try to present the perspective of what God calls a woman to be...not what is defined in our world.

We will have fun.  We will worship together.  We will listen to each other.  We will care for each other.  We will learn what God has to say in His word.  We will play.

Camp will end on Saturday August 2nd, 2014, at 4pm we will have a presentation for the parents and at 5pm camp will be over.

We will not be charging for camp.  We would welcome volunteers for praying, cooking, cleaning up, and supervision.  I would like to ask if you would be willing to pay $10 for a t-shirt to include that info in your sign-up email.  The last day for signing up will be July 10th.

To sign your child up you need to email us at: gwapministries@gmail.com.  Please include their name, age, shirt size, any comments or questions you have, and your contact information.  And you will need to fill out a medical release and give it to us the night you drop your girl off.  Go to this link: 2014 Medical Release to print the medical release, it's also on the right of the website listed under "Parent info and forms."

So be in prayer, and expect big things from God in the hearts of all those at camp (me included).  See you then!!
